My sophomore year I was greeted with the chance to leave mid-west America behind for a semester at Kyushu University in Japan. I took the chance, and this is its blog. March 27, 2007 - August 4, 2007. Those are the dates on my plane ticket, so as of now, my plan is to fly back on August 4. Assuming no backlog of posts, the blog will become a frozen archive of my journey shortly after.
